Leak detection and meter reading are both integral to the stability and success of the water industry. The Permalog+AMR builds upon the proven reputation of the world’s most advanced leak detection system by adding the ability to communicate with most AMR meter reading systems.

With over 200,000 units in use world wide and more than 200 U.S. water utilities, the effectiveness of Permalog technology has been proven again and again in some of the harshest conditions on earth. The versatile system can be linked to either a mobile (drive-by) or fixed-network AMR system allowing the utility to survey the entire distribution network every month.

The new waterproof housing and replaceable 10 -year battery are deployed on main-line valves where the majority of leaks can be easily detected.
