Permalog 3 is the latest in a highly successful line of permanent and semi-permanent leak noise loggers. This logger can be used as both a traditional leak noise logger, and as a "drive by" logger. The operator can set options using infrared communications and the latest Permalog software to suit each application.
For manual inspection the logger has an integrated LED which flashes red to indicate a leak, and flashes green to indicate a "no-leak" status. Data can be downloaded with the Permalog 3 interrogator "cowl" using high power infrared communications. The results displayed using the latest Permalog software show the historical leak and no-leak states, and the histogram of the previous nights logging data.
