The Sound Choice for Leak Detection

Listen and you’ll hear it. The sound of rain falling through leaves. A stream tumbling down a mountainside. Waves gently lapping a rocky shoreline. There’s a sound to the water we see. Just as there’s a sound to the water we can’t see. Beneath the streets of our towns and cities, more than two million miles of underground pipes deliver the water we rely on. These pipes carry our most valuable resource, yet each day, we lose nearly seven billion gallons of treated water, wasted as it leaks away, often going undetected as pipes fail.

For water authorities across the country, detecting and finding these leaks is a time consuming and expensive task. So what’s the solution to this unseen problem? You listen.

Today more than 300,000 FCS leak detection sensors are helping utilities manage their water networks more effectively, enabling them to respond to inefficiencies quickly, avoiding expensive and devastating effects, and delivering a higher return on investment.

Even in places unseen, there’s a sound to water. Listen and you’ll hear it. Hear it, and you can repair it.

What We Resolve

Our primary focus for over 30 years has been proactive water leak detection, however in the last few years we have expanded into new applications and sectors which include network distribution system monitoring, pressure modulation, sewer and storm water monitoring, river and flood monitoring.

An effective, smooth-running wastewater network is a critical piece of infrastructure, and as such, utilities invest heavily to ensure their collection systems function efficiently. At FCS, we understand the importance of effective network monitoring and have developed an innovative range of levelflow and data logging solutions to support you in maintaining your sewer system.

Products

Fluid Conservation Systems offers a range of solutions for clean water and wastewater network monitoring. These solutions include reservoirs, PRVs, critical point monitoring, DMAs, and trunk main monitoring, as well as leak detection and pressure control solutions. FCS also offers acoustic data loggers that are versatile, battery-powered, and utilizes cellular communication.

Additionally, we offer newer, more advanced solutions based flow and level monitoring for wastewater networks. These solutions are designed to help utilities manage their water networks more effectively and efficiently, enabling them to respond to inefficiencies and quality issues more quickly. Fluid Conservation System’s solutions are known to deliver a high return on investment and can help utilities avoid the potentially devastating effects of flooding.
